Surgical Services

Safe, precise, and compassionate surgical care — from day-care procedures to complex joint replacements.

Aarogya Hospital's surgical programme covers a wide range of procedures across orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and general surgery. Our surgeons — trained at Fortis, SGPGI, and RML Hospital — are experienced in both open and minimally invasive techniques, supported by state-of-the-art operation theatres with image intensifiers. Every surgery is planned meticulously — from pre-operative evaluation through recovery — to ensure the best possible outcome.

Pre-Operative Guidance

Pre-anaesthesia check-up (PAC) to assess fitness for surgery
Blood tests: CBC, blood group, coagulation profile, blood sugar, kidney and liver function
ECG and chest X-ray (for patients above 40 or as indicated)
Written informed consent after the surgeon explains the procedure, risks, and alternatives
Fasting for at least 6–8 hours before surgery (as instructed by the anaesthetist)
Discontinue blood thinners or specific medications as advised by your doctor

Post-Operative Care

Monitoring in the recovery room until anaesthesia effects wear off
Pain management with scheduled analgesics — we aim for a comfortable recovery
Early mobilisation as per the surgeon's instructions to prevent complications
Wound care and dressing changes by the nursing team
Dietary progression from liquids to a normal diet based on the procedure
Discharge with clear instructions on medication, activity, wound care, and follow-up

Modern anaesthesia machines with integrated monitoring — capnography, pulse oximetry, invasive blood pressure, and temperature — for real-time patient safety during every procedure.

HD Laparoscopy & Arthroscopy System

High-definition laparoscopy and arthroscopy towers with energy devices enabling minimally invasive surgery for orthopaedic, gynaecological, and general surgical procedures.

C-Arm Fluoroscopy

Intra-operative imaging for orthopaedic procedures, ensuring accurate implant placement and real-time visualisation during fracture fixation and joint replacement surgery.

Your Safety, Our Priority
